If you have locked your keys in the car or even worse, in the boot (it happens to everyone sooner or later), we can retrieve them or replace them.

If you need to call us out, what you get is not another breakdown vehicle. We will arrive in a mobile locksmiths workshop. We carry cutting edge equipment and all of the tools to recreate the key for your vehicle, whether it is a car, a van, motorbike or even an artic. We are sorry, but if you are driving a tank, then we may have some difficulty getting you back on your way.
We will cut your key according to the code by which the manufacturer created the lock. We can determine this using either the number on the key or by decoding a lock on the car to establish the keys code. We can work it out using either the door locks or the ignition lock.
Every vehicle sold in the UK which was built after around 1995, will use a transponder to improve the security for the car. The transponder sends a signal to the ECU (engine control unit) which allows the engine to start. Without the correct transponder the vehicle will not start.
This means that any replacement car key will need to have a transponder chip as well. If we have to build you a new car key, then we will supply and program the new transponder chip to unlock the immobiliser system in your vehicle. This is the same process the main dealer would have to go through to replace your keys, the difference is that we can come to you and have you on your way there and then.
We can use the same process to build a new key from the broken parts of a key if it is broken. We can also use the original key to build you a spare for your car.
So if you lose or break your the keys to your vehicle, then call us and you will be back on the road with the minimum of fuss.
Obviously, if you have lost your keys or had them stolen then the situation arises where the keys may be traced back to your car. For your peace of mind we can rekey the locks on your vehicle. This would allow you to have confidence in the security of your vehicle. For us to do this would be far cheaper for you than having the locks all replaced by your main dealer.
